EPG was contracted by Great Basin Transmission to conduct surveys for desert tortoise and rare plants along the proposed 60-mile Southern Nevada Intertie Project in Clark County, Nevada. EPG’s BLM-approved botanists conducted surveys for the Las Vegas bearpoppy, sticky ringstem, and other rare plants along the proposed alignment. EPG wildlife biologists conducted surveys for desert tortoise following USFWS protocol. EPG used these findings to prepare reports and a Biological Assessment for the Project.
