Senior Archaeologist/Project Manager
EPG is accepting resumes for a senior archaeologist/project manager. This is a salaried position in the Cheyenne office. The following skills and experience are required:
- A PhD in anthropology with a specialty in archaeology or related subfield.
- Experience with Section 106 and NEPA (documented experience in the drafting of Programmatic Agreements, Memorandum of Agreements, etc.)
- At least 12 years of experience in cultural resource project management
- Documented experience managing large (200+ miles or more than 1 million dollars) archaeological projects that are multi-state and multi-agency.
- Extensive archaeological experience (including agency coordination) within the following states – Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, Utah, or Idaho
- Already permitted or ability to be permitted within Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, Utah, and Idaho (BLM, USFS, State, etc.), with the ability to be permitted in other surrounding states a plus.
- Completion of large cultural resource survey reports, testing, monitoring, research designs, and data recovery reports.
- Experience with the creation and maintenance of budgets, managing subcontractors, and interacting with other project managers.
- Demonstrated ability to bring projects to completion on time and on budget.
- Ability to review documents for technical accuracy and completeness.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in marketing and proposal writing.
