Eastern Nevada Transmission Project
EPG was contracted by Silver State Energy Association to develop the Environmental and Biological Assessments for the Eastern Nevada Transmission Project in Clark County, Nevada. The proposed Project consists of two 230-kilovolt transmission alignments: one runs from the Gemmill substation near Coyote Springs to the Tortoise substation near Moapa; the other runs from the Silverhawk substation near Apex to the Newport Substation in Henderson. EPG conducted rare plant and desert tortoise surveys for the Project. EPG staff is working closely with Silver State Energy Association, BLM, and other cooperating agencies to produce an Environmental Assessment for this Project.
