Senior Biologist

EPG, Inc. is an interdisciplinary environmental planning consulting firm seeking motivated senior–level Biologists for our Las Vegas, Nevada and Phoenix, Arizona offices. Our work focuses on the energy and utilities industries, particularly large multi-state transmission lines and wind energy development. Primary duties will include the preparation of NEPA documents (Environmental Assessments and Environmental Impact Statements) and Biological Assessments, feasibility studies, habitat assessments, and field surveys. The position will also require interaction with state and federal agencies, mentoring junior staff, and leading field crews.

Ideal candidates will possess a Masters degree in biology, wildlife biology, zoology, ecology, botany, or range science, a minimum of three (3) years of consulting/agency experience in the Southwest, and substantial experience with NEPA and the Endangered Species Act. Familiarity with flora and fauna of the Southwest, experience working with state wildlife agencies and federal land management agencies, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Section 404 permitting and Section 7 consultation experience is desired. Specialization in wetlands, botany, or ornithology is a plus. Salary is negotiable based on experience.


Office Manager /Senior Project Manager

EPG, Inc. is an interdisciplinary environmental planning and consulting firm seeking an Office Manager/Senior Project Manager for our Las Vegas, NV office with a minimum of 10 years experience in environmental services (environmental planning, landscape architecture, biological resources, or cultural resources). Successful candidate will also have up to 5 years experience managing an Office or Group in the Desert Southwest region, with a strong track record of successfully managing staff in the pursuit and acquisition of projects.

Position requires effective time management, written communications skills, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Successful candidate will be articulate with professional presence, with solid decision-making, planning and organizational skills. This position requires the candidate to have experience in developing and implementing marketing plans, developing and fostering new and existing client relationships, and organizing and winning project pursuits.

This position will be responsible for growing and diversifying the Las Vegas office's client base as well as meet with prospective clients, prepare proposals and presentations, oversee technical performance, ensure quality control, mentor staff, and communicate with the Phoenix and Tucson office for technical and marketing support.

Office Manager will also have senior project manager responsibilities on a day-to-day basis. This position reports to the Southwest and Great Basin Region director. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Environmental Planners:

EPG seeks mid and senior level environmental planners (4-8 and 8+ years of experience) for environmental planning and multi-disciplinary NEPA compliance projects in our Las Vegas office. Bachelor's or master's degree in Landscape Architecture (preferred), Planning, Geography, or related field is required. Previous project management experience, NEPA documentation, and coordination with federal land management agencies in the western U.S. are required. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
