El Paso Line 2121 Pipeline Replacement Project

EPG was retained by the El Paso Corporation to prepare FERC environmental resource reports and an EA for a proposed 17-mile 20-inch natural gas pipeline project. The project is located in northwestern Arizona, near Topock. The BLM-Havasu Field Office was the federal lead agency for the EA, and issued a Finding of No Significant Impact for the construction approval. EPG conducted the biological and cultural resource preconstruction surveys, prepared the FERC reports, and conducted monitoring during construction of the pipeline. A native plant inventory and salvage plan were prepared for 4 miles of pipeline that crosses state land.
