For a proposed wind project in eastern Nevada, EPG prepared two simulations and a visibility model for a visual analysis out to 10 miles to ascertain impacts to sensitive viewers. The main viewpoint was a scenic highway, which runs along the east side of nearby mountains. The proposed project included the construction of approximately 90 three-megawatt wind towers, each approximately 360-feet tall, including blade height.
