This proposed project is comprised of a 500-MW wind-park facility, a 345kV substation and switchyard, and approximately 9 miles of 345kV transmission line in the Diablo Canyon Rural Planning Area, approximately 22 miles southeast of Flagstaff, AZ. The transmission line would connect the Grapevine Canyon Wind Ranch with an existing 345kV transmission line and would be located in the Coconino National Forest. EPG is assisting the Coconino National Forest with the preparation of an environmental assessment for the portion of the project on national forest land, as well as in the preparation of a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility application for this project, including the wind-park facility.
