EPG is the prime consultant for this very unique substation project to be constructed in an urban location near downtown Phoenix, Arizona. The substation walls were designed to emulate the façade characteristics of the two-story town homes that are in proximity of the site. The purpose is to make the unsightly substation blend into its surroundings and to block views into the substation. To a passer-by the site will look like a two-story town home complex complete with multi-family residential-style landscaping and treatments. EPG has prepared conceptual plans, DSD site plans, landscape plans, and irrigation plans for this project.
