EPG performed environmental studies, biological surveys for Desert Tortoise and Cactus Ferruginous Pygmy Owl, landscape design, and permitting for the Panda Gila River generating facility. Construction of this facility, located near the Gila River in Gila Bend, Arizona, required a habitat mitigation plan to provide wildlife habitat compensation for compliance with Section 404 of the Clean Water Act under U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. EPG also conducted visual impact studies and simulations for site design to incorporate the town’s concerns and a general plan amendment.
