EPG personnel have provided siting and licensing services for more than 200 energy projects, including transmission lines, substations, power plants, and renewables. Our experience extends back 30 years, but in the last 7 years alone we have sited and licensed more than 20 power lines in five states, ranging in size from 500 kilovolts (kV) to 69kV. Also in this timeframe, we have sited and licensed 10 power plant projects, totaling nearly 11,000 megawatts.
We have worked with more than 30 energy clients, as well as with numerous federal, state, and local agencies on energy projects over the years. Representative examples of the types of permits/studies we have conducted for energy projects include:
- environmental impact statements (EISs), environmental assessments (EAs), categorical exclusions, state and municipal applications for permitting/licensing
