JOB OPPORTUNITIES - PHOENIX

Landscape Architect/Designer:
EPG seeks entry-level (0-4 years experience), mid-level (5-8 years experience), and senior-level (8+ years experience) Landscape Architects/Designers to join their Landscape Architecture and Design Services Group. A bachelor's or master's degree in Landscape Architecture is required. The applicant should have strong skills in planning, design, grading, graphics, construction documentation, written and oral communication, and the following applications: AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Salary is negotiable based on relevant experience.

Environmental Planner:
EPG seeks entry-level (0-3 years) and mid-level (4-8 years) environmental planners for environmental planning and NEPA compliance projects in our Phoenix office. A bachelor's or master's degree in Landscape Architecture (preferred), Planning, Geography, or related field is required for environmental planner applicants. Previous experience with federal agencies, visual resource studies and analysis and NEPA are preferred, along with good graphic skills, AutoCAD, and Photoshop experience. Salary is negotiable based on relevant experience.

GIS Analyst:
EPG seeks an entry level GIS Analyst for environmental planning and NEPA compliance projects in our Phoenix office. A bachelor's or master's degree in Geography, Landscape Architecture, Planning, or related field with a specialization or focus in GIS is required. Previous experience with ArcInfo and/or ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Visual Basic, Trimble GPS, and MS Access is required. Additional skills should include excellent oral and written communication with ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical staff/management; strong general computer skills; Windows OS and Microsoft software products; and knowledge of relational database systems. Candidate should be a self-starter with the desire and ability to take the lead on a task and possess the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Public Involvement Specialist:
EPG seeks a Public Involvement Specialist with 1-5 years of experience for our Phoenix and Salt Lake City offices. Experience communicating both verbally and in writing with the general public, government agencies, media and clients is preferred. Previous experience in the Southwest or Intermountain states is also desirable.
The responsibilities of this position include developing public involvement/participation plans for various environmental planning or design projects and the ability to implement the different elements of these plans. These elements may include, but not be limited to: newsletters/factsheets, development of website content, telephone information lines, news releases, public meetings/open houses, meeting preparation and facilitation, comment forms and analysis, mailing lists, response to public inquiries. A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, or a related field is required. Salary is negotiable based on experience. EPG provides interdisciplinary planning, permitting, and design services to all levels of government, businesses, and Native American communities. JOB OPPORTUNITIES - SALT LAKE CITY

Cultural Resource Field Director/Project Director:
EPG is accepting resumes for the position of cultural resource field director/project director for our Salt Lake City office. A graduate degree in anthropology with a specialty in archaeology or a related subfield is required. The position requires at least three years of experience with similar responsibilities and archaeological experience within Utah.The successful candidate will have documented experience supervising small and large field crews for survey, testing, monitoring, and data recovery projects and experience in coordinating project logistics. A working knowledge of the Section 106 compliance process is also necessary. Candidates should also have completed several self-authored reports and be able to be permitted within Utah (BLM, USFS, State, etc.).The ability to be permitted in additional states is a plus. An attention to detail and quality control is necessary as well as the ability to contribute to the creation of research design and data recovery plans.

Senior Wildlife Biologist:
EPG seeks a motivated Senior Wildlife Biologist for our Salt Lake City office. Primary duties would include specialized field studies, protocol surveys, wildlife tracking, habitat assessments, wetland delineations, preparation of technical reports in support of NEPA documents, and managing projects and/or tasks. The ideal candidate will possess 5 to 10 years of field and management experience with several listed and other species of concern within the Intermountain West region (Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada), a valid USFWS permit for one or more of these species, and knowledge of regulatory requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Experience in endangered species Section 7 consultations is preferred. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
