EPG was presented with the Valley Forward 2007 Leadership Award at the VFA 38th Annual Luncheon. The award was presented to EPG for leadership in helping the organization develop the Pedestrian Freeway Passport and website, together with the media events surrounding its distribution. EPG has opened a field office in Boise, Idaho. Two senior level staff from the Boise area have joined EPG to assist in the development of the field office.
- Darrin Gilbert recently joined EPG’s Boise field office, bringing to the firm more than 12 years of experience in environmental planning and landscape architecture. He has been the project coordinator and principal visual resource specialist for transmission line planning and permitting studies in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and California. Mr. Gilbert’s experience includes visual impact assessments, data collection, and environmental impact investigations. Additionally, he has testified before California PUC evidentiary hearings as an expert witness in visual impact analyses. Darrin has a MLA and BLA from Syracuse University.
- Dr. Terrence (Terry) Enk, a senior wildlife biologist with over 14 years of experience in natural resource consulting, has recently joined EPG’s Boise field office. He has extensive experience in NEPA compliance, Section 7 consultation, habitat assessments, wildlife surveys, and endangered species investigations. Dr. Enk has worked with numerous federal and state agencies including the BLM, U.S. Forrest Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Army Corps of Engineers, FERC, Bureau of Reclamation, and various state game departments. He has participated in numerous transmission line projects, as well as wind farm projects in Idaho, Montana Wyoming, Nevada, and New Mexico. Dr. Enk completed his PhD at Montana State University and his MS in Natural Resources & Conservation Biology at the University of Michigan.
