OFFICE NEWSEPG’s Salt Lake City office relocates to a larger building – In January 2011 EPG’s Salt Lake City office relocated to an 11,000 square foot building in the downtown area. This larger space not only accommodates our growing staff, but also will allow for future expansion. The new office is located at 208 East 800 South. Please stop by and visit us in our new building.
2010 Engineering Excellence Honor Award from the Arizona Chapter of American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) – The Siphon Draw project for the Flood Control District of Maricopa County recently received a 2010 Engineering Excellence Honor Award from the Arizona chapter of the ACEC. The Project provides mitigation of the regional 100-year flood, while achieving multi-use potential and easy maintenance. EPG led the landscape architecture and multi-use aspects development to blend the Project with the surrounding landscape and retain the natural Sonoran Desert valley wash and plains character.
Valley Forward Association Awards – EPG is pleased to announce recognition by the Valley Forward Environmental Excellence Awards for the Western Canal Multi-Use Path Project in Tempe, Arizona, and the Paseo Vista Recreation Area in Chandler, Arizona. The Valley Forward Association focuses on the balance between economic development and environmental quality, and initiated the Environmental Excellence Awards in 1980 to recognize outstanding contributions to the physical environment of Arizona Valley communities. This year, Valley Forward received a record number of entries. These projects were selected to receive the Environmental Excellence “Crescordia” Award for Site Development and Landscape in the Trails and Parks categories, respectively. All projects considered for this award must meet the criteria implied by the term "Crescordia," which is taken from the Greek language and means, "to grow in harmony."
Paseo Vista Recreation Area Tempe Western Canal Multi-Use Path
